I've never installed an aftermarket turbo but I did drive an Evo with some minor performance mods.
I prefer to keep things quiet. What are the pros/cons to the different types of wastegate? Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

A fully shielded stock cat system and an extremely clean tune to go with it - tougher than you think to reach 2012 emissions standards ..... which is what that car will be measured up to

Thumbs up to you lot, I dont know what the problem is with the other TC kit makers but its been harder than pulling teeth to get them to do a quartermile run.
This is the NEWS of the day, going for constant refreshes tonight. This thread will warm up to maximum intensity in around 12 hrs time lol - ![]() I would oil cool for street work with turbo, you might as well get that motor lasting as long as possible since the gains are HUGE. Imagine if every 6 liter engine with factory internals and near factory exhaust produced 633rwkw on 8 - 9psi - the FA20 is golden in terms of efficiency

Pretty sure it's the car owner that wants to know the 1/4 runs not the turbo installer...

Seems like CH and AP are both running quarters over the next 12-36 hrs, interesting indeed. It would seem the CH kit will have numbers first and the other one maybe 12 hrs later

These are the only numbers we can compare from country to country, dyno numbers are hopeless to compare between AUS and US unless from same brand ..... even then not great -

We must be only 2 hrs away from the first quartermile times for a turbocharged 86/BRZ
My guess, in the 12s probably 12.6 if the driver is good, could be some serious wheelspin, clutch issues maybe ...... the videos - if there are some may give some indication

Im surprised the stock clutches have been able to handle the 300rwhp thats been getting thrown at it from the various tuners!
Looking forward to the 1/4mi runs

13.11 @ 107.19 MPH - as reported by MZ21 in the Aus section
BOOM! - simple change of tyre would've apparently sent it under 13 |

Very Impressive numbers on stock tires. Any 60 footer times? Got to love CHE! Turbo kit designed and built and track tested in just over 2 weeks. Keep up the good work Dale.
