Here's my 07 Yaris... a few of you may already know it as kurokoma-kun on yarisworld and microimage

This yaris is my 3rd small toyota, the others were a yellow 79 corolla sr5 and white 77 celica gt liftback.

My other car, a 94 miata m-edition (duct tape not visible in this pic lol)

Previous DD was an 04 tiburon.

It was because I enjoyed this car so much that I've been drooling over the Genesis coupe for like 5 years now and seriously thinking the r-spec woudl be my next new car, but then I saw the FT-86... RWD, intriguing specs, sextastic styling, Toyota goodness, what was I thinking?

It's funny, I actually set it up to be more go than show. I've been autocrossing it for 3 seasons now, we did pretty well in STS

Then I got a wild hair last winter and installed one of these, and now am floundering in SM, lol! Doesn't matter, it makes my commute much more pleasant

The people in my local scca keep telling me I need a "real car" which is one reason I'm looking at the FT-86 among others. Anyone have ideas where it might be classed (maybe B stock)?

I was wondering if you had a blower on that. What size? Intercooled or no? Dynoed it?

The Blitz s/c I put in is a twin-screw type that puts out 8-9 max psi--no intercooler needed. It's got a clutch drive that activates at 3 pre-set throttle positions, or you can turn the compressor off completely. Has its own piggyback fuel management module (non-programmable). The unit adds about 30 whp, or a 30% increase from the Yaris's stock 90 or so... with my i/h/e and other mods I'd say I'm putting down 130-135. Not toooooo shabby, car weighs less than 2200 lbs. But yeah... it makes me laugh too

No dyno... I saw yours tho, congrats on nice results But since I'm not using that data to tune it's not worth the money to me. My Yaris easily does a ~7.5 sec 0-60 now, which surprises enough people in traffic to satisfy the butt dyno lol. For me lightness and good suspension/tires have done more to make this car a fun DD than powwaaahhh ever could.

A few others with similar setups are trying for greater gains, but I'm about done with this project, already looking forward to the next. Just need funds... c'mon lotto
