If I was a betting man, I would say no brembo/sachs pacakge but rather base 86 (same as current), GT (add push button start/proximity key/ dual zone), GT Limited (add heated leather seats and rear spoiler).
What makes you say no PP for the 86? Just curious.

So base (what's out now) and Limited (stuff from the BRZ). Wonder what that 3rd could be. Maybe that black package that Japan is getting which is basically the Performance pack with black wheels? Highly unlikely for 2018, but maybe it will be the GR model rebranded as TRD minus some things missing (No recaros) to make it cheaper?

Thanks guys! Interesting to know. No more Lava though so my next will need to be blue so will be a BRZ.

no way

Go dig up a low mileage Oceanic/Ultramarine/GSB the bright blue is on every other WRX with vape stickers all over the windows. I thought part of the charm of the orange was that not everyone has one?

Edit: I mean, new 86 in Oceanic is possible...

If I was going to find a low mileage one I would just get another Lava and wouldn't need to go blue at all.

The ONLY thing that would make me manage to control my repulsion of the new front end would be if it was in Lava. Blue would not cut it.

Likely:

Base
GT (Limited trim) $30K
TRD - (base trim with PP, skirts all around, unique wheels, and exhaust) $30k

So it's basically one or the other and no mix like the BRZ where you must get the Limited for the PP. I would expect the TRD might actually cost closer to $32k. Then you slot the Supra with the 30i motor at 35k-ish and that gives Toyota a spread from entry level buyer to mid level buyer \ conquest buyers that move from the base or TRD and into the Supra later. The GT people can go to Lexus.

If they do a TRD/PP I'll have to trade in my 2017... -_-

My one regret with my car, that I'm absolutely in love with, is that there was a 2017 WRB BRZ w/ PP at the Subaru I work at, at the same time. It was a really tough mental battle whether I wanted to sacrifice appearance (I personally think the BRZ looks childish compared to the mildly aggressive FR-S and more so aggressive 86), or sacrifice "race mode" by skipping that PP and getting the 86 which in my opinion, is a better color (Lapis Blue/Oceanic vs. WRB), turn-key, which I like, and cloth seats, which I also don't mind, also won't miss those oddly placed seat heater buttons as well as the push button start, both taking up spaces I take for granted in my 86. If I can somehow get the PP goodies on an 86 without the push-button and heated seats, I would do it in a heartbeat.
