I mounted the knock sensors on the drivers side low where the 8x1.25 bolt hole is and on the passenger side in the timing cover hole at the top. There is no other 8x1.25 hole on the passenger side. I noticed vorshlash made a 8 to 10x.5 adapter when they built their frs ls swap. Could probably find a large head 10x1.5 bolt and drill and tap the top for 8x1.25. Majority of exhaust is finished now. Have to move the y-pipe section back to not hang too low in back of the transmission and connect it with the rest of the full blown 3" exhaust the car ran before.

Toyota makes a knock sensor stud that would work perfect for you. Do some research on it as it will thread into our block and then the other is small enough for the knock sensor. Just use the gen 4 knock sensors instead of the gen 3 knock sensors.

The Toyota one I found was 12mm. I ordered two that are 8x1.25 to 10x1.5 46mm long so that should work fine.

Got it running finally. It was the red switched power lead for the ecm. Now it will start but backfires like crazy. Going to pull all the plugs today and check the coils and wires. Exhaust is finally finished too. Hardest part of the swap was the exhaust. Took me many tries to get it right. Just need to wire the fans and figure out this backfiring and I can go for a ride.

I'm very excited for you bud!! so with the engine sitting further back, do you have room for a different intake other than the LS2? Maybe a Fast?

No the LS2 manifold will be fine. No need to spend 1k on a fast when im going to add boost anyway.

Sorry been very busy with moving houses. Solved the backfiring issue. The plugs on top of the coils were swapped from front to back. Looked at wiring diagrams and swapped them. Car runs perfect now. Need to tidy up some wiring and clutch line and raise the suspension up for the test drive. Cant believe I am this point. It has been since December since I last drove the car. I will post pictures soon.

Just completed the first real test drive. Cooling was great. Only thing is the clutch master cylinder throw needs adjusting and MRS device keeps dropping out(loose wire suspecting). Need to post more pics and get to tuning now.
