In my humble opinion this is not a car that needs nitrous. Any source of power that cannot be continuously provided over a circuit race of an hour or more is pointless on a lightweight, tight handling sports car. If you plan to head to the drag strip, a great American tradition, go do it in a great American muscle car. For me this is a case of horses for courses. This, for me is the wrong horse.

Thanks for bringing up a older thread.. I laughed my ass off lol... I loved the ZEX kit I had on my 93 probe GT.. Ran high 12's with it.. Went through a lot of engines and two transmissions.. It started out as a 16 sec car.. Just swapping out the auto for a stick dropped it to the 14's and then huge amounts of unsafe weight reductions... No bumpers, cut out bars in the doors, stripped the sound deadening.. I loved that car.. Did the suspension and everything.. It handled great and was quite fast.. And pulling up any where and using the purge always caught attention.. Ahhh 10 years and you learn so much... BTW. I'm one of the very few that likes Tokyo drift huh..

Fairly sure most sanctioning bodies won't allow it on a road course car..at least not for track days.

I tried pm DoBoy i think was his name for I saw his 190hp chart. Im assuming he fogged a dry 35 shot. Was wondering what his tourq was. Id be happy if 50shot gave 200/200. Or mabe get a hold of a jet calculator and fig what's needed for 60-65 output. Need rail pressure tho.

I had a wet 150hp NX kit on my 96 Camaro SS and I doubt that I will be installing another one.
Its not that I had any bad experiences with it, it was all good. NX is a fantastic company and they have a quality product. The kit always worked well and it was great for keeping a low-profile in my younger days when street racing. In the event that I seriously misjudged how fast my opponent was, I would spray 'em and be done with it. Back in the 90's a 315hp LT1 on spray was pretty tough to beat. Still, I will not be installing NO2 on my FRS and here is why. Filling bottles is a pain unless you live somewhere that its readily available. In Seattle it was hard enough to make it a hassle but not impossible. Also, unless you spend the money on a proper, gradual release kit, the power is nearly instantaneous which is really hard on the drivetrain when you don't break traction. And finally, forced induction kits and technology have REALLY improved over the last 20 years and just makes permanent HP make more sense than temporary HP. Just my opinion though. Scott

^ I too have used much larger shots in the past aswell as in conjunction with a eaton built by steigmier. Nitrous is 3 mins away or I can rent a 75lb bottle and it be as close as my garage . Nx was nice enuff to make deal with me for unbiased end user results. Cant speak on price but it was low enuff that my wife said you be dumb to pass this up.
