I was actually thinking about bartending, I know it'd be really hard but it's worth a shot-if I really hated it I could quit.
My only big problem is fitting it in my schedule And @Grishbok - Thank you I like to do some sculpting, but I was never really that great when it came to making things outside of that area. I'm not really that creative, but it would be cool if I could sell stuff on etsy... *shrugs*

Well, aim high, then aim a little higher and if you fall short, your right where you wanted to be. NY is a great place to start a side gig, My brothers in NYC and hes run the gambit from serving at Nobu to making his own clothing line. Its full of potential, the only thing that limits it is your own motivation and drive.

There is still a strong enthusiast crowd for these cars. It's not huge but I think it will grow.
Most STIs and EVOs and WRXs I see on the street are not done right...a lot more of the show than the go. With some pretty poor taste. So I don't think it's a problem specific to this car at all. - andrew |

Now if that opinion movement just stayed in those circles, fine. But it's starting to contaminate parts (that are in no way subjective) more and more. The objective, measurable reality of shitty parts is not someone subjectively 'hating'. It is a fact.

Man...so my dad apparently bought a collector MG TD at an auction on some weird impulse (at a pretty good price apparently) and now he is commissioning me to sell it since there's no point in keeping it... anyone know how to go about doing this? lol... I'm seeing pretty high prices for these but I don't know if they actually get sold at those prices.
I kinda want to see the car once though, maybe like move the shifter around and press the clutch a few times (don't want to start the engine, or it might explode and lose all its value! or rather, my skull might get embedded with shrapnel). |
