Very interesting, if you did not see any damage on the belt you should really investigate your auto tensioner. As mentioned I did have my stock one fail without the supercharger installed and my car was not even a year old.

On the topic of belts, I typically hear a little squeak between gears when shifting around 6k-6.5k rpms under WOT, shift, WOT. Normal, I'm assuming?

I looked at that as well. All looks okay as far as I can tell. Should I look for something else I may not be seeing on the tensioner.

Had a few runs with a buddies Vortech car. The results were surprisingly very close. The Innovate kit gets the Vortech down low but his car would real me on up top. Vids coming as soon as they are edited. All runs done in Mexico of course

The racers around here run in Mexico too. Sounds like a pretty happening place.

What cat back is everyone running?

On my initial install I had the perrin header back installed (unresonated). Just upgraded the rest of the exhaust including headers to 2.5 inch and seen minimal gains and still showing ~10psi. The tuner is saying it's possibly the Perrin catback still restricting things (single pipe into one muffler then splitting). Has suggested a design similar to the invidia would flow better or going 3 inch.

Thoughts?

Edmunds has their track test up for the innovate kit. pretty impressive when you realize their launch was ~2,800rpm and they can't hit 60 in 2nd gear.

The kit makes the car do easy low 6 sec 0-60s and I bet a good driver with a more aggressive launch and a rev limiter increase could be in the low 5s.

I don't buy the explanation that the exhaust is causing the bottle neck and causing the boost to creep up. The reason being is that innovate tested and tuned there car with everything completely stock other then the blower. So if the exhaust was causing the boost to creep to 10PSI I think they would have mentioned that maybe?

I think it has more to do with the valve overlap/timming on the tune could be causing the boost to creep up. Don't get me wrong I completely agree that a restrictive exhaust can cause boost to creep up on a supercharged car. I just don't that is the case with our cars.

I read through just about this entire thread but couldnt find to much on everyone's impressions of the SC. I will be going FI soon and have been closely looking at the innovate SC. I have had turbo cars but I am new to adding FI to an NA car so just seeing these numbers doesnt help me get a feel for how it transforms the car.

So my question to you guys is this awesome innovate club is what is driving the twins like after adding the SC? Is it a rush of power to the small car? Or would you say the gains are just enough to make it a slightly more enjoyable car?
