Side note: Could not find a PS4 (even though I have an XB1), so I picked up a PSVita this weekend. Go figure, last night, Amazon had PS4s available

Reason? Because I love video games regardless of what platform. One thing I hate about consoles though, is this exclusive crap (See Assassin's Creed games and Watchdogs). Bonus/additional content only on these systems even though the game comes out across all platforms Yea, I know, I am sucker for stuff like this

I finally succumbed to peer pressure and preordered the Titanfall bundle. I wasn't really planning on picking either of them up for a while, but at least I can finally play Forza 5. And I can continue to vicariously enjoy driving an FR-S, but I'm ready for the real thing...

So after this purchase, my next "big" expenditure will be my 86.

I'm still waiting to get a PS4, for me there's no "killer app" on the system yet. Thinking I'll likely get it for Xmas 2014.

Despite the fact I game primarily on Xbox, I've always had a PS since the PS1.

So much fail last night for the Titanfall launch, Xbox Live login servers were down, never got to play even 1 minute.

Definitely not what MS needed. I was seriously unimpressed.

At least the people who got on before the outage seemed to be having fun?

My beloved 360 will be replaced by a PS4.

I've just come to the feeling that Xbox hates their customers. I find the act of scrubbing metadata perverse. I find the act of having to be subjected to advertising in something I'm paying for (cable TV) perverse.

Xbox Live is doing both now. You have to pay for XBL Gold membership to game online and even fire up Netflix and on top of that paid subscription there's still advertising on my home screen and worse the XBL on the XBONE will be scrubbing my metadata to deliver targeted political ads. I HATE POLITICAL ADS, especially on my gaming system where I go to escape the BS of the world.

I just can't get behind paying to be advertised to. It's BS. If there's advertising then the product is already subsidized and I should get the services free of charge, ESPECIALLY when that advertising it targeted by scrubbing my own damn metadata. If I'm paying for something it needs to free of advertising, or I'm not paying for it.

I use voice commands and never look at the home screen unless necessary. It didn't seem to have any more targeted horseshit than any modern product.

And by the way, I agree with disliking being advertised to within a paid service, but if you think a PS4 is going to be any different... Well it seems like you're just looking for reasons not to like the X1.

I'd wager PS4 isn't far behind on ads.

Don't forget gentlemen, this is all about making money, and ads are a solid revenue stream. Don't think for a second that Sony cares any more about gamers than MS does, they're both far more concerned about their shareholders.

Finally got online for some Titanfall last night.

It's pretty fun, definitely hectic.

Nothing groundbreaking, but a lot of good things from a lot of good games combined into something that's better than the sum of it's parts.

Kind of annoyed no single player though, I don't have a huge amount of time to get good at games like COD so I don't usually play much MP. This is definitely different than what I'd choose, but still fun overall.

I think the PS4 is the better system but mine freezes every 10 mins gotta give Sony a call but picked up the Titanfall bundle in the mean time
