Real answer? My jack sat too high to fit under the car. Need to get a low-profile jack.

I made the mistake of ordering a metal lathe from them, and had to return it 3 times just to get one with all the parts included and minor cosmetic defects. Yeah... My low profile jack and jack stands are holding up just fine. Going on 5 years now.

This jack goes on sale a lot. I wouldn't buy it for more than that. Used it once already to change my oil. Seems to work fine but IMO it's not low enough. Any lowering done to the car would not clear the saddle height of the jack. Also I didn't screw on the pole tightly before trying to pump the jack and it started spitting hydraulic juice. Works fine after I screw it on tightly and try jacking again. Is this sign that I may need another one |

I got this jack for my Birthday last month and its been great!
http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-l...ump-68050.html Im lowered 1.5 inches on coils and it fits under the factory jacking points in the front and rear. |
