Crap. I cannot even afford to finish my exhaust with your glorious EL header yet, and now I gotta start saving for this (intake manifold) now too? Thanks. Thanks a lot.

I have local forum members begging to purchase one and i won't take their money yet. We have lots of headers shipping out this week and early next week that will bring us to about the 3 week mark of pending orders. At that point I'll feel comfortable putting the exhausts on a few different local cars to get sound clips and more pictures. The price went up because these ended up being more money to produce than originally expected. It's not gonna be for everyone, we knew that going into it. These exhausts have more money in raw materials/mufflers/etc than what some of the overseas produced units sell for retail. We're doing the best we can to make these available to those who want them asap.

On the subject of not enough hours in a day...I'm waiting to get around to testing a few of these catted UEL's soon....And there's also a reason there is no intake manifold on that motor.

Jesse it is indeed exciting to see there will be another header with cat coming soon :-) Speaking only for myself the frustration with the single and dual exit exhausts comes from simply a lack of development information or testing information being provided. Of course we all want sound clips and dyno charts but how bout some information about what the goals were and if your expectations were met on power gains, weight of the system etc.. Obviously the tip design is not for everyone....I happen to love it!!

I/We truly appreciate you taking the time to give us any juicy tidbits that will help us understand and appreciate your new designs and what we might expect from them.

Thanks Bro, Fletch

Hey Jesse,
I appreciate the intake is a while away and this is a thread hijack but can you tell me/us what the design goals are. That is, what you expect to achieve with the manifold?
Ta.

I'm impressed not so much by the increase in power but by the spread over which that increase takes place. From 3700 rpm there seems to be a 10 hp increase all the way to 7400! I hope mine does something similar.

I ordered my UEL JDL header May 22nd and it shipped June 20th. So far I am a happy camper. Getting a hold of JDL has been very easy and they are easy to talk with. Debbi even sent a picture of my header before it shipped out. I'm a sucker for American companies that provide excellent customer service and products. The header is getting here on Wednesday, and I may just install it after work since I'm so impatient.

Quiet a bit more UnEqual. The loner runners are 12-14" inches longer than the short
