Can't you get your own oil from work?
AMSOil shouldn't cost you 100$ though lol

You'd be surprised. I wanted two filters and 12 quarts of oil from Subaru. Our parts guy had a brain fart or whatever and just ordered 2 filters. Probably wanted to sell me his bulk Petro Can oil. I needed an oil change that day, so I said order me some AmsOil from Benson. Can't be that expensive with my employee price, can it?

Keep in mind this is USD, and then factor in tax
http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produc...?code=ASMQT-EA

Then the Subaru filter is like $8.
Never again lol

Sign up on the Scion Owners Club Ottawa and get 20% all parts at Mendes - that's better than my friend at Graham Collision gets internally. Kanata Toyota extended the 20% to me too when I got my Yaris replacement mirror and I explained the Mendes offer.

Wow, that is crazy and just excessive gouging. They likely just bought it at retail from Benson's and marked it up another 25%.

As an Amsoil retailer, I can't post specific pricing, but my price per liter/quart is pretty close to the US price you quoted.

Amsoil is worth it if you drive a lot.

I had it in my car for 30,000km+ / 2 years, lol. I only drive ~15,000/year. Oil filter cost me $20 USD (now it was back in the day circa 2007). I don't use it anymore since I don't drive much, but I gotta say I loved how the engine felt.

I've had Amsoil in my tranny for about 130,000km/8 years now. I don't feel like changing it. The oil is still pink tho

It would be cheaper for me to pay $100 for an oil change than to take time off work to drive all the way to Ottawa to buy oil and a filter.
Besides, I'd rather use Subaru stuff.

Who else is on their way over to a Porsche dealership to order a Cayman GT4 after watching Mr. Harris' review?

It's a little long but it's a cruise. My daughter says
this is the most boring movie ever...

Nice! Good tunes too. Radar Love is one of my favorite driving tunes and the 509 is one of my favorite roads...good combo.
