Started on the exhaust today. We should have our dyno video up of the Accessport later this week as well

Cobb AP dyno

Hey guys! Finally got the Cobb Accessport installed and did some testing of of their maps. This was all done on stock everything. Not a lot of top end power, but does keep it from dropping off compared to the stock tune. But noticeable gains in the mid range for sure! Not a big difference between the 91 and 93. We will see what we can do with our custom tune soon.

91 Oct tune:

93 Oct tune:

Stock run vs 93 Oct:

From my understanding, no carbon ceramic brakes on the GT350R, but they will have carbon fiber wheels as STOCK…

I have detested Mustangs for decades (high school in a redneck FL town during the mid-80s; 5.0 GTs & IROC-Zs everywhere), but I REALLY like the GT350, and the GT350R seems the smart buy, but I will add in the Electronics Package…

For the money, I could get a FR-S and throw a buttload of aftermarket parts at it. Or, I could just buy a stock GT350R…

I look at the pics of the GT350R, and somehow I can only think "This is the Mustang that Brian O'Conner would drive."

Wow, almost 374 wtq with just a tune, that's pretty impressive.

Torque monster for sure. I bet with our downpipe and exhaust coupled with our custom tune, it should be over 400wtq.

That's a lot when you consider the displacement of this motor. To put that in perspective, my '08 GT500 was making about 470 wtq and that was a 5.4 liter SC motor!

Impressive torque. This might be a dumb question but here goes. Why does the curve decline after 3000-3500? Compared to the stock curve which pretty flat.

Most likely do to the fact that this turbo is simply pretty small, and it has a hard time holding large amounts of boost at the higher RPM range. Great for instant spool and good low end torque, but doesn't make great top end power. Our downpipe and catback might help with this a bit, but we will see.
