Anybody got 16 inch wheels on their FR-S /BRZ?

I don't see why not; the brakes seem to be carried over from Gen 1 (same part numbers for pads and rotors when I filter on Tire Rack, FT Speed, etc.), so clearance shouldn't be an issue. But I'm not 100% sure since I don't have first-hand experience with test-fitting on a Gen 2.

Tire size I'm running in this photo is 225/50/16 (on 16x8). The other common size if you have a narrower wheel (e.g. 16x7 or 16x6.5) is 205/55/16. These are the sizes closest to stock diameter for 16" tires.

My track setup will be 225/45/16 (on another 16x8) for better gearing and a lower profile sidewall, but won't be as aesthetically pleasing (about an inch smaller in diameter compared to the sizes above), but function > form for track duty

good to know. i just ordered 16s in rpf1 but i do like these comps more.

i am seeing some rear wheel fitments from gen1 that's hitting the rear fenders.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the gen2s but any fender clearance issues in the rear would have to be due to a combination of incorrect width/offset and not the diameter of the wheels.

The brake system has not changed on the new gen car. A 16" will fit over the caliper no problem.

The extreme offsets from the last gen, like 17x9 +35 and 18x9.5 +38 Ive read have clearance issues. So any 16x7 +48 or out to 16x8 +35 should be ok.

The Enkei Comp wheels pictured above were a 16x8 +25, and they are discontinued. Those would not fit a new gen car.
