No, you have to make an educated guess based on your VIN and the departure dates (i.e. a lower VIN may have left Japan before a higher one).

Gotcha, mine is 6XX. Got the VIN on 11/1. So time to start guessing and looking. Thanks!

It seems like they ramped production in October based on the VINs showing up over 1000. I'm curious how many were made in September and before/after the shutdown. My VIN is 1XX.

I'm on my phone so I hope these pictures show up ok. But I got the car! It's awesome. It's really hard keeping it below 4K. I only drove the last gen for 15 minutes or so but it pulls noticeably better. It also rides much better, that really surprised me. It's just really nice to drive. The car looks fantastic in person.

I'll get better dslr pictures later when I can get some better light. For now I'm ordering Castrol SRF and I've gotta rack up the break in miles before the car's first track day next month!

My plate is not drilled thankfully, they just used the existing setup, that's coming off. Also pictured, a white BRZ next to my Dad's Mustang.

As far as asking the dealer to not drill the plates - my state requires a front plate - is there any reason I should ask them not to drill it? Didn’t know there were pre-drilled holes that would work with US plates.

Plate relocation kit to not have the bumper ruined.

I'm bringing out my DSLR tonight, if the lighting is good by the time I want to stop driving and take pictures, I might have some decent ones. Though I told the dealer not to detail the car, so if they did not detail the car it may be a bit dirty.

Man I kind of want to pull up to the meet to see it. Told myself I'd wait til mine arrives to pop my cherry, but the anticipation and how hype I am, not only for my car, but you guys' as well, I may have to check it out.

How are the roads in TX? The ones in PA get beat up from the Winter salt.

I just signed up, so I'll definitely be there! I'll probably arrive early and may stay a little later since it won't be so hot.

They can definitely get pretty bad in some spots, though maybe not post-winter salt levels of bad. I'm really comparing it with my Fiesta ST, and down the same roads the BRZ is just so much smoother and doesn't make it seem like you've broke something over bumps.
