Goddamn that fine... With an auto, and you getting high 5's? Thats very impressive

Got a unichip that will work for CAI, Individa Front Catless Pipe, Perrin Overpipe, and Borla Catback Exhaust?

Thanks for the posts.

100 RON/95 AKI… if anybody runs higher than standard octane fuels (remember the 5-ish point variance between rating systems) I’d use the standard premium map for your Main Map Set (92 F~T~ ) and a more aggressive reduced fuel/increased timing map for Map 2 (92 F-T+ is the most aggressive).

L3P47… what sort of intake are you using?

Cheers

Threw a cel with my map. Best map now???

I threw a CEL yesterday with the map I was running.... standard timing, 91 octane, drop in filter, all headers, all cat-back. I took out the Unichip and went to the dealer. They said it was reading way too rich. (I suppose it would without the Unichip on top of things.)

I have been running a drop-in filter, header-back exhaust (front pipe without the 2nd cat) and Perrin intake hose... and this map seemed to perform well until the CEL.

So... called Unichip today and talked with Arron (very helpful man) who said to use the same map I was before but pick the 87 octane.

Does this sound right? Or, should I be using another map?
Thanks for the help.
Mark

Just wondering but why are you running the all header map when you dont have aftermarket headers?

Why all header-back?

That's what Unichip suggested I run when I sought support to operate the mapping software. I wondered about that too.

Given my setup--- drop-in filter, header-back exhaust (front pipe without the 2nd cat) and Perrin intake hose ----what would you run?

Headerback means your exhaust is from the header, back. So you have an overpipe, front pipe, midpipe, and muffler. That does not mean you have headers. So you should only run the drop-in, all cat-back map with whatever octane and timing/fuel you choose. Do not use the all-headers map.

Pretty much what Husker said. all catback might fit the profile better. Adding headers makes a pretty big difference.

I disagree. Header back does not assume you swapped headers. It means after the header on back all stock pipes replaced. Run all headers with premium base of t and f and second of premium t+ f-. Pull cable on battery and then run for a day and drive around. Between the ECU and Unichip both will learn and be all good.

Why would you run a map made for a car with headers if you didn't have headers?
