With your mods...Are you in 5 sec range to 60?

I'm think with axle + front pipe + drop in +e85 maybe I be low 6 or high 5?

Jack,

Any special procedures we have to follow after disconnecting the battery for electrical work? You mentioned that the ECU undergoes "normalization" whenever the battery or ECU is disconnected. Will it be able to undergo normalization even with the Unichip connected?

HRTROB... everything works the same so nothing changes procedurally. The ECU still learns, it just learns different values because of the data in the Unichip, but the process is unchanged.

Cheers

It's a beautiful day for E-85.

They seem to be busy with getting tunes for every aftermarket intake that's available. I believe they are working on TRD now. Sadly for us that don't have a aftermarket intake system, there's nothing really new to try.

On a side note, I tried fuel in and timing standard yesterday and still running today in the heat. That seems to be the best for me. It's a plus to have so many ways to customize the standard tune. I felt lately that fuel - timing + or just tim + made the car feel jerky at low speeds. Fuel in just feels smooth.

Question!!!*

I notice on the chart that Jack posted a while back that 92 fuel in and timing standard is listed as being richer and leaner then standard? How is that possible? Thank you

Got some data logs now that I've been running the AEM tune for a while.

Specs: AEM Intake & FA20CLUB EL Catted Header running 93 Octane from Exxon.

Map: Unichip AEM 92 octane w/Headers, CatB --- Fuel ~ Timing +

I did some full throttle to redline pulls. Ambient Temp 65 degrees, Oil Temp 200 degrees, Coolant Temps 192-196, Air Intake Temps 86-93.

Approaching redline:
Air:Fuel Ratio - 12.165
Timing Advance - 22 degrees
Mass Air Flow Rate: 129-135 Grams/Sec

With the warmer weather and gripper tires on, and my current set up, I actually am in the consistent low 6's. With colder weather and different tires sometimes I would be in the high 5's.

The warmer weather definitely does something to this car moreso than any other I owned (outside of turbo).
