Check your state DMV handbook first. It should state that any illumination from the front quarter panel and around the front of the car should only be white or yellow. From the rear and around the back should be amber or yellow, except reverse which needs to be white. Such that if the red lens of your taillight is broken and all you see is a white bulb you might get ticketed.

So to answer your question, http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47042 there might be your answer. You have to mess with the wiring.

Also it is probably illegal unless you remove the blue on the front and leave it white/ yellow, and replace the white to amber on the back.

I think the exception is during the day. You will see people with colored LEDs on their Camaros and BMWs. Where you might get knocked is after sunset.

Because it's blue it's probably illegal BUT unlikely you'll get tickets for it

I call it as I see it but I do respect that some people (sometimes even most people or everyone but me in some cases lol) like that over what I like. I am more into the minimalist look and believe less is more.
