Tapping into badge lighting

I am writing this to see if anyone has yet checked out the badge lighting system on the 10 series?

I looked at the diagrams that came with the car but they don't show much of what I need.

I am planning to add accessories/lighting that goes with the badge lighting.
Does anyone know, or can give advice, on a good, safe way to tap into the circuit for the badge lights?

Essentially I want some accessory lighting to fade on/off with the badges.

I don't think the wiring for the glowing emblems will support anymore added lighting.

I'm not screwing around with the emblems seeing how they cost $400.00 each to replace.

I'm not touching the emblems themselves, i'm wanting to add on to the circuit so it powers more stuff.

Might have to use my multimeter to do a power pull test on them to see how much more amperage I can consume

You can run additional accessories through a relay and use emblem wire as remote to turn them on

That's close to what I want. Which of the emblem wires would be used to open/lose the circuit

seriously?!?!? that does it. i'm gonna make a set just out of spite.. especially considering toyota makes them so cheaply.. i can see the acrylic below the emblems that was loosely cut to the shape of the finished emblem..

but for those of you lacking the talent, this guy has put up with plenty of my harassment about his product and still somehow kept it professional.. and his emblems look a heck of alot better then just an 'acrylic sandwich'..

If I upload the wiring diagram could anyone here let me know which of the wires to use as the relay for on and off to some additional lighting?

I'm assuming I could run a serial circuit through the badge ground wires?

Or would it be best to find the connectors and tap in there, similar to how the always on LED box upgrade on here has wires directly to the pins?
