Naa we don't go again. I'm smoooshin this right here. If they are happy car owners and im a happy car owner then the world is right. I honestly didn't know you could drive tnem in manual all the time. I guess if I had one, I'd drive it in manual too.

No info sorry, you'll have to find someone with the subaru equivalent of tech stream because that's where I found this one to tell people about.

My dealer did it for me at the first oil change @ 3650 miles, along with properly aiming my winjets to legal height as they were unnecessary low on my part after install for quite some time. Good luck, my approach was print out the TSB, Ask to speak to the service department manager, tell him my experience with this issue how I've dealt with it since purchase and am on record of trying to get it fixed, then ask for him to please allow the flashing of the TCM logic referred to on the TSB. He completely understood and took the print out and walked me over to the guy changing my oil in the service bay who said he would do before the multi-point inspection process. It's also super important you don't do it angrily they deal with people on a daily basis but not people who know what a TSB is or TCM logic is so most likely they will do it for you

Just went to my first oil change at 8000 km. Showed them the TSB. The service rep did some searching and 30 mins later I was told they had found the software and updated my car (and I saw the tech walking away from my car with a computer/tablet with cables dangling).

Will report back if the issue reappears.

By the way I am in Canada and I have a 2015 A/T FR-S.

Drove it for two days since the firmware update, with mixed driving switching back and forth between D and M and paddles. So far so good.

WTF? Which TSB did you use? What dealership? My local dealership refused to do it because it was an American TSB

They can easily refuse it however all the American stuff stands for North America I think they just are getting out of working on it. Techstream will have it regardless
