THIS.

I got them to give me $1000 more than what they were able to sell my trade-in for at auction (and that's hilarious) because they screwed up my order (by allowing the port installed options to go on the car which I specifically ordered without). I also went in with a pre-approved loan from my credit union for 2.4% so if they wanted my money they'd have to do better. Well, they wanted my money and gave me 1.8%.

When I got my frs, there was a current promo with $750 off sticker and no dealership fees at my dealer. I tried to get the price down lower and since they didn't budge, I went after free accessories and 75% off undercoating which I got. I paid in cash with insurance money from my accident with the brz btw. Soooo better than nothing I say!

Everything is negotiable!!! I got my 1st 2015 around 2K below sticker price. I returned it the next day to wait for the 1st RS1 that came in. Watch your interest rate, the dealers get the loan at one rate from the bank and sell it to you at a higher rate. Don't get hung up on payments, all they'll do is extend the term to get to "your" payment. Look at the total financial package.
