I'm about to buy a 7th car so I should really stay out of this discussion.

I'd call the six cars you have being used with different enough intents that it's justifiable. Nobody is expecting you to eat 15 mpg or less on your commute much less drive your racecar to work hoping you didn't trash it the day before Monday.

I think you could be argued down to three (DD/Tow/Race) and have the DD/Race fill the lost roles of track/weekend as desired. Thought you were selling the BRZ? Now I'm curious what you'll buy...

OP wanted a commuter, baffled most people as so many around here commute in an 86, even some aggressively modded ones. It's one thing to have dress shoes and sneakers, having two pairs of Nike's and saying "those ones aren't for walking" is peculiar to the average enthusiast. (I know you feel the M3 is a better commuter, I won't argue the point, the 86 is no comfort-mobile).

@spatcha88 sorry to hear that, what was the final justification?

I didn't even read the thread.

Looking at another MR2. I just like these things. I especially like when they try to kill me. Adds some fun to the daily grind.

Yeah bro went with the SI. As I got hate saying good bye to everyone in my other thread, where the FR-S IS the superior drivers car of the two... I enjoyed the ride in the SI and the interior is what grabbed me. I know people just care about the ride, but holy shit man sit in an SI and then jump back into the FRS. Now if Scion stepped up their game interior wise this car would be the tits. But this is just my opinion.

I don't think an Si has a better interior than my BRZ. What exactly do you mean by "Better" interior?

BRZ seats in Alcantara are butter. Only seats that may be better are the Recaros in the tS.

Visibility is outstanding. Ergonomics are all driver oriented..... So explain?

Materials?
Color? (Colours for the Flip-top head members)
Smell?

I sat in some 2015's recently and I didn't care for them.

However, the hondalink system is far superior to the shit headunits we get. Otherwise, the Si interior felt cheaper IMO.

That's coming from a BRZ Limited though where the OP had an FR-S so I can see it a little more there.

It's not the seats that's for sure. I will say the FR-S is more driver orientated. I can't explain it I just find it more comfortable. Bigger interior, roomier, and the dash is what did it for me. It looks like a god damn arcade lol. I guess I'm big on the tech department when it comes to car. The SI at night just looks beautiful and is sweet to be in especially at night. Again this is just my opinion even though everyone here is going to hate. Not everyone that owned an frs is an weekend autocrosser. I for one wasn't. I enjoyed the simple bolt on mods and aesthetic add ons, but I never had plans to autoxcross this or "race." I get the same spirited enjoyment and a Really comfortable interior out of the SI. I'm happy with my decision and I will just leave it at that. I think the plan is now to hunt down an old used 350z to fulfill my heavier HP department and I think I'm going to be one happy camper.
