They are turbo AWD to just like our FRSs (the whole standard mud flaps are just secret code)
I heard it's true.

If an STI ever comes it will be right before the new model arrives, just like every other sports car -ever. You start with a base and they progressively get better and better to keep sales strong until they fall off right before you drop what everyone has been asking for, right before you release a new model and do it all over again. The Mazdaspeed Miata was only for the last 2 years of the NB before a HUGE refresh of the Miata; Camero's started with the SS and ended the model run with the z/28; 5th gen Mustangs started with the GT and finished with the '12-'14 Shelby GT500, Corvettes start at base, then launch a Z06, then a ZR1, Ferrari & Lamborghini do it with each car getting ever more so challengy as the years progress; finally, the myriad of models that encompass the Porsche 911...

And, I wouldn't expect anything better than a tS.

We're at the first step of "special" models with the FRSRS1.0 & the Series.Blue. If they follow every other ports car marketing scheme, I'd place my bets on us getting the tS in 2017, maybe an STI in 2019 and a new car in 2020.

Meanwhile, I'm over here sitting in the corner with my Series.Blue waiting for the 4th gen Rx-7.

Loved my 91 Talon AWD Tsi and it took forever to break. Now... once it started to break it went all out.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

It is my understanding that the 1gs had fewer issues than later years. I was just helping a friend replace the intercooler piping on his 94 FWD Tsi (6 bolt swap). It is held together mostly with zip ties, rust, and profanity, but it sort of runs.

Now the 2gs on the other hand
