The thick people can use this product, for example HPS 5W20 ( a bluesubie fav), take apart their engine, and stare at their own reflection. Hi bluesubie, hope all is well. Are any of the bearing issues mechanical or design caused? BTW, I did try to recommend Red Line Racing 20W, with it's shear stability and high zinc content, for 86 track usage. OK I am in love with Motul 5W40. If I get a new Forester, I will need to draw on your experience with antique Boxers. Cheers. |

Thinking about doing an oil change at 2500 miles. It's still on the very first oil from the factory.
Should I go ahead and change that now or wait until maybe 3500 miles?

Should I go Royal Purple or Eneos Sustina? Debating between those two oil brands as they seem to be the best.

Guys would you consider Redline 5w30 to be suitable on a car with Sprintex 210 kit...or would that be too thick?
Car will not see track/race duties. Approaching summer in Australia now..where daytime temps can rise to around 110F. |

Actually, you probably don't need the 0W in your summer temps. Probably just go with the 5W-20. -Dennis |

I have used Motul 300V in my cars for the past 10 years. I will try 5w30 next summer as I went for Toyota OEM 5w30 oil now during this winter.
