I come in around $170/month total for 3 cars and 2 drivers with Pemco and 2 bikes with Progressive.
I'm curious, does that include collision?

Geico quoted me $110 a month for full coverage, even with 3 points on my driving record.

Well, I may have missed a few posts, but it looks like the range is $47/mo to $285/mo...the top rate is 600% of the lowest rate! Now do we all understand why inquiring about insurance on a car forum is a total waste of time and bandwidth?

I'm with progressive. Shopping for quotes they told me 83/month for an FRS. That's with similar coverage. I believe I put a 1k deductible though.

23yo w/ 1 ticket 10 over on the interstate(I know, right). I think the cop lowered it so it didn't go on my record though. But still, that seems outrageous. I was quoted 120/moth on a 370z and 165/month on a 2014 mustang gt. I paid 20/month on my 280zx haha.

I'll be 24 in January so I'm interested to see if my rates drop any.

No accidents
235$ a month...

I searched through every single insurance company in my province. I seriously have to lower the insurance. The thing is, it's not the car's that's expensive. A Mazda 3 is 8$ cheaper a month. I'm the most expensive thing to insure.

No accidents (because no car yet, lol)
I got quoted $366/mo for 6 months with Progressive (lowest I could find)

So yep, I'm getting righteously screwed in the ass, but oh well, I'm still going for it.
Currently looking at a real good deal on a used FRS, if I go through with it, my car + insurance will cost about 1/5 to 1/4 my monthly income after tax (freaking tax).

I'll be looking forward to getting older and watching my insurance drop...

Anyone here try the snapshot deal btw? I'm tempted to since I wouldn't be driving the car much (weekends only)

sounds like you have no credit yet -- get a credit card and do your bill payments on it .. also -- sounds like you chose a lot you didn't need. on progressive what did you sign up for?

I have credit monitoring through myFICO, all three of my scores are between 730-740 and I have enough credit line on my cards to outright buy a new FRS lol. So thats not the issue unfortunately. Its most likely my age, lack of driving experience, and risk associated with a sports car. My graduate degree got me a slight discount... a very slight one.

The bulk of the cost from Progressive comes from the basic bodily injury coverage and $500 deductible collision and comprehensive coverage. Those two alone add up to $1500 for 6 months if i remember correctly.

I'd almost entirely chalk that up to driving experience. Similarly to credit, no experience is basically the same as a bad record. My insurance is fairly low, and I attribute that to having no lapses in insurance since I was 16.

All those who have pointed out that the OPs requested information is basically irrelevant is true. They are right that your deductible not only is based on those factors but region, coverage rates, credit, etc. Some companies will give you circumstantial discounts like mine gave me one for buying a new FRS over a used low mileage FRS. Only one person posted most of the relevant info to underwrite a policy and that was the above quote. Do as that other guy said and shop around using every insurer in the area. I did that and Geico, State Farm, and Progressive all claimed they could beat Allstate for me. They quoted me $1000 every 6 months and when I laughed at them and told them Allstate quoted me $480 they were speechless.
