BTW, for science, I filled up with Esso 93 E10. Put in 45 L, and the remaining fuel was Shell 91 E0.

Let's see what happens...

So I'm updating my findings as well. After putting 2 tanks of Shell V-Power, chirping is not noticeable... Maybe it's the winter blend that Shell uses.

The crickets is one of those things you are blissfully unaware of until you read about it on the forum and then suddenly you hear them all the time

Garage
Had the car 8 months and no chirping. I have used Shell V-power for the life of the car from a single gas station and it has just started chirping recently...I think it is independent of gas, unless Shell changed something recently.

About four months ago one of the guys on here from the Philippines on ft86 had his HPFP replaced. Tech showed him the parts inside the HPFP that causes the noise (most likely due to the cavitation as you mentioned), and whatever Toyota changed, it seems to have resolved (well at least for me) the chirps ever since I had the HPFP replaced back on Jul 26. So far about 5000 km on this one vs 2800 km on the original one before it started to chirp.

Don't know what the part number is, don't recall seeing it on the paperwork. Asked if I could keep the old part so I could tear it apart but couldn't as it was being sent back because of the warranty.
