The RPF1s are interim wheels until I figure out exactly what I want. I mod very slowly because I've learned over the years to just wait to buy exactly what I want instead of going through multiple setups. I put the RPF1s on because the car originally came with big, heavy, kinda ugly BBS LMs ![]() I wanted to bring the car more close to stock so I could learn it how it is stock, and then address its driving dynamics after I have at least a semi informed opinion. I've had it like this for almost 2 years, and I'm only starting to mod it. That being said, I've focused a lot on weight reduction and have reduced the weight by close to 170 pounds, which makes the car feel extremely light and nimble. 2014 is going to be a very good year for my NSX, as I've also been hoarding lots of parts (JDM short gears and Type R final drive to name a couple). |

I freaking love the 5th Gen Prelude, I was considering getting another one. Recently I was thinking about selling the ITR and getting a NSX but not sure if I will since my ITR has less than 6000miles.

I've had 2 DA Integras; 91 GS was the first car I bought (used) and performed an auto-to-manual transmission swap on it when the transmission failed [will never do that again!], and a 90' Integra RS (which I bought from a co-worker to hold for my brother's daily driver eventually when he would pay me for it), much better than the GS for handling (no ABS, no moonroof) and was a fun track car once you took some major weight out of it, upgraded the suspension, depowered the steering rack, let the engine breathe/set it free with a lightweight racing flywheel, and put some lightweight wheels/sticky tires on:
![]() And who does this?!?; while on vacation some 1,000+ miles from home you see a Roadcourse available for exclusive half day rental (some hundreds of miles from where you are staying) for DIRT CHEAP and decide to go down for a day an track the car. Never mind going through a blizzard in the mountains on sticky High Performance tires to get to the track and having the temp gauge going all the way back to cold when it's fully warmed up. Ended up taping off the front opening to the radiator. Anyways, we had a fun day half day at the track during our vacation... I took video on the first few laps when we were figuring out the track, since had no way of securing a camera didn't bother with videoing beyond the recon laps. 5000ft altitude really sucks the life out of a NA motor...it revved slower than normal and felt slower, also sounded different too. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tft69yVn5Yk"]PMP Onboard with Evan - YouTube[/ame] Without too much difficulty got the '90 RS down to 2300lbs with full tank...little more work (seat change and gut the doors) and 2200lbs would have been attainable. It was a daily driver for my brother though so fully functional/factory doors and stock weight seats remained. ![]() I was very stupid one sunny spring day into work and was going 71 in a 35 on a twisty short back road right in front of an officer in that car... (was oblivious to the officer until coming to stop sign at the intersecting road and seeing this SUV with front lights going all funky)...I don't think it's good when the officer starts off with "Are you looking to go to jail today son!" Extremely fortunate I only got a verbal warning - car had expired inspection (like 1+ year expired), Nitto NT-01's worn down to slicks, and downturn exhaust system with no muffler... Yeah that car shouldn't have been on the road, just begs to be driven hard and has no issues being driven hard. Well me being stupid with the Service manual wiring diagram officially took it off the road when my brother was installing an E-bay fuel pump that came without a wiring diagram. After we did all the work and got it in and went to check out the pump, the stupid thing just went Wirrrr, wwirrr, wirrrr and no fuel was being pumped through the fuel lines....spinning backwards?!?! So I get the bright idea of instead of dropping the tank, etc, why not just swap the pins on the connector that goes to the fuel pump. I triple checked the dang wiring schematic and did it...okay - put the key in the ignition, turned it to engage the pump and ... POP then silence... Main relay toast and dash not working at all....yay! Put pins back and replace the main relay with a spare one on hand and nothing still...YAY again! Car stripped of useful parts then sold to a salvage yard.... Briefly had a '91 Civic DX 4-door, couldn't get it to pass emissions - was going to make it a track car. Ended up just selling it to a salvage yard. Did test fit steering wheel and some racing wheels on it though: ![]() ![]() My sister had a 91 Integra GS and then a '90 or '91 CRX Si that we swapped out the original motor for a Japanese spec ZC unit for cheap when it was having issues at 210k+ miles. Motor swap was a nice change but the CRX Si was short lived due to someone pulling out in front of her... ![]() My sister sold it to someone who was going to "fix up the chassis"...got a call from the police a month or so later wanting to know if we wanted our totally gutted wrecked CRX Si back... Just something about those 90's Honda's....I don't know what it is, but they were awesome! I honestly wouldn't mind an Integra Type R; would love to have a garage with an ITR, FR-S, and EVO X in it...

I know the other photos are in Cali, and you're in Cali and that license plate says Cali but really... Those mountains look a lot like Utah.
Was this pic taken in California as well or just in a part of Cali that looks a whole lot like the Wasatch Mountains?
