If it falls in your budget, get the 10 series.

The headlights, keyless entry / pushbutton ignition and better HU make it well worth $1500. There's a few other tidbits that are nice to have, like the climate control and rimless mirror, but those weren't as decisive for me when I was debating Hot Lava vs 10 series.

Also, I was surprised at how much I like the paintjob - it's really amazing under artificial light, but it's awesome in full sun too. And if you don't, just get your car vinyl wrapped - that way it'll be whatever exotic color you want it to be (including colors the FR-S doesn't come in), and still be a great deal.

they're talking out of their ass. a tank or two of it won't hurt from time to time. using regular gas could hurt if it was the only kind you ever used, but even then it would be on the dealer to prove that the gas caused a particular issue before they could deny coverage. there's no such thing as "voiding a warranty because <insert stupid stuff here>" in the car world.
