How come in any Raceland thread anywhere on the internet somehow vw scene kids and Vortex comes up? Ugh..

I'm perma-banned from there for a reason. But I do miss my R32...

Yeah, been in PLENTY of friend's cars on Racelands... Absolute shit. Spring rates were awful, the "shocks" were no better than a pumped up super-soaker's worth of pressure... That's about it. I can give you about 100 different threads about sway bar endlink tabs breaking, bent housings, saggy springs, etc.

I wouldn't trust them to keep my garage door propped.

And that should tell everyone how bad the RaceLands are lol.. I will never buy BC's again after having a set of BR's on my ralliart sportback, they were crap compared to the KW V3's i had on my evo, damping was horrible.

V3s are like almost 2k more than the bcs and you expect them to be just as good lol?

BCs are in the 900s. V3s are a little over 2k. Still a huge difference in price to be dissing the BCs for not being as good as the v3s.

tldr summary, do you wear skinny jeans? if so you may love racelands.
I wear skinny jeans but I do not like raceland coils.. Nor do i like most of the coils being offered on the lower spectrum of the market.

at that price pretty much as long as they don't kill you or get your significant other other pregnant they're a good deal, i mean at that sort of price anything above those 2 factors is a bonus.

whats been changed since the price nearly doubled?

These have horrible ride quality.

LOL I personally describe it as all spring ride!

Most people just buy these to slam their cars with nothing else in consideration.

As for budget coilovers go, Fortune auto, BC, ST are all great for the price.

Save up and save yourself the regret!
