The speedo sucks !

In base 86 it totally make sense, cuz without the digital readout to kill ur self-confidence. You feel like u are driving so fast all the time.

"What speed is it? Fuk it, in Touge world there is only 2 speed! One is on the road & the other is off the clift!"

There is a bump at 3k, and another at 4.8k.

If you're lucky you'll find another pair of bumps in the boot.

Back then, probably every car had them... now-a-days the gauges are more exclusive to sports/track cars. The 5th Gen Camaro top trim levels had them, but it looks like they are going away in the 6th gen... probably moving everything to digital.

Rumor has it that our cars also have radios and CD players. Who'd have guessed? BTW, I keep my speedo in the glove compartment... with my glove.

At least that one is over to the right in the light, not crammed into the far left in shadow and has distinct spaces between the numbers instead of a garbled mess of lines.

I think I crack the reason for our speedo sucking,

Cuz We don't live in a Right Hand Drive country......it's a lot easier to see them in a RHD car cuz it will be in the eye of sight as you look stright. The design is prefect in RHD cars, they are just too lazy to flip it over to make it easy for us.

When I get the car, I'll see if a Garmin or similar GPS device would fit right onto the analog speedo without covering the tach, making that space more useful... If it doesn't, it's not a huge deal.

Perhaps someone with one can test it out for me?

The problem is that a Dos Equis won't fit in my glove compartment along with my speedo and my glove. Perhaps una equis would fit but what fun is that?
