Yikes. I will have to pass on this one if they keep shipping with crappy fitment like that.

Yup mine started to pull away. So I pulled it off, re-taped it with 3M extreme strength tape and reapplied. Thought I was good after the install. The next day I went out and it was now pulling up in multiple spots. Struggled to get it off again and twisted it and probably deformed it enough it wont be worth putting on again.
I think I am just going to go with the Seibon CSL trunk and get it painted to match. Should have just gone this route in the first place, I should have known to go with my first choice. I mean this is not my first time modding a car. Just need to stop taking the short easy way. Ok I am done.

As far as water getting under the spoiler is concerned, I mean you can worry about it if you want but its going to do the exact same thing with any spoiler. My stock BRZ spoiler gets all kinds of water under it. I use a master blaster to dry when washing and the amount of water hiding under it always surprises me. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you're driving in winter with salt on the roads. In that case best practice is to just try and blast water through it so you see the water coming out the other ends.

Thanks for this thread but did any of you REALLY think for the price you were going to get a perfect fit? You think something thats a direct recasting of an OEM piece is going to be legit? They STOLE the design by molding the TRD wing....their sculpting was done by purchasing the wing and essentially stealing from the guy who did the work in sculpting it in the first place...

As for the price, I didn't think it was "cheap"...it was still only a little cheaper than the 5-axis spoiler.

After a lot of looking into certain people having issues with the spoiler, we looked into it ourselves and found there was a certain batch that did have issues with fitment, so we took every single one we had left in stock and tested them on the car, we found about 8 or so defective ones.
If you feel you have a defective one, please PM me with pictures of your fitment and I will look into it. You can also email me at zoeb@wheeldude.com If you do have a bad one, we'll replace it with a good one that we've tested to make sure it works Also, here is an installation video with tips on installing the spoiler: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3id0sVKwGTw"]Stivo Spoiler Install - YouTube[/ame] Zoeb |

Bumping an old thread but I thought I would share my experience. I purchased a new spoiler from a forum member here that was unused but from 2013 (or at least that's what the QA sticker tells me). The paint looked great and matched my asphalt car perfectly. Spent some time this weekend putting the spoiler on and my impressions so are are that the fitment of the spoiler is good, but the adhesive isn't. This could be because I have an older spoiler and the tape has lost some of its grip so I won't blame it on the hardware. Either way, the bottom right corner's tape is almost completely off from the car. The rest of the tape looks like it's holding up okay, with some minor peeling from the bottom left corner. Going to go with the 3M extreme mounting tape and re-install this weekend.
