If you read the whole conversation you would realize that I was responding to Laika who said the hatch had a more rigid/stiff chassis than the sedan and why the sedan was not used for rally. I corrected him because it was due to smaller overhangs and lower polar moment of inertia. Would you please stop trolling in threads. You have been doing this quite frequently since you joined. |

Yes, that was the final season for a Subaru works team motorsports, and they did campaign the hatchback that season for performance reasons. FWIW it finished second in it's debut.

You really don't know what you are talking about huh?
This is your friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_...ally_Team#2008 "The 2008 car is expected to benefit from a decreased polar moment of inertia due to smaller overhangs, and also features a double wishbone rear suspension. In which Prodrive found this inferior, and converted the cars rear suspension, back to the original MacPherson design." |

Your posting doesn't even deserve a response. You seriously need to calm down and act more mature if you want to keep being a member around here. Your kind of response does not last long on here. If you read the whole conversation you would realize that I was responding to Laika who said the hatch had a more rigid/stiff chassis than the sedan and why the sedan was not used for rally. I corrected him because it was due to smaller overhangs and lower polar moment of inertia. This is the point, Subaru used the 5 door hatch in rally because it had smaller overhangs and a lower polar moment of inertia, not because it was stiffer/more rigid. If you have evidence other than that to show why Subaru used the hatch for rallying please do provide it. |

Watch the attitude and language. Debating and disagreeing is fine when done maturely and respectfully.
Disrespectful, insulting, derogatory attitudes and posts will not be tolerated. |

These past 2 pages are getting retarded...
Notes? previous Impreza models....Hatchback was superior on design and was used in rally over sedan... Current Impreza Sedan is superior over Hatchback and is being used in rally.... Both arguing parties are getting retarded, responding to things completely out of context. So much lost in translation conflict. Time to move along folks
