I have a feeling this car is going to be a legendary budget priced Porsche beater.

Oh wow, this is a bad idea folks I have always avoided doing...for very good reason,
most of my parts were had for wholesale pricing because everyone loves an a$$hole... AEM series 2, r35 injectors, GT2868 HTA turbo, Tial Wastegate, Motiv Concepts bill for undisclosed ballerness, counterspace/berk test pipe, Grimmspeed plate relocation kit, AEM wideband, AEM serial Gauge, hankook RS3's, ClearCorners.com OEM JDM sidemarkers modified with (i think 60) leds (for parking and turn) http://clearcorners.com/products/subaru/zc6/f_smark/ countless hours of dyno tuning, Bell intercooler core, Skullworks End tanks for said intercooler (outsourced these to a friends shop who has waterjet and brake, Ful stop tech OEM replacement rotors and brakepads, Motul Brake fluid, 2 days at buttonwillow CW13 some wax and soap I'm already into this way past 10K, hence why i dont add this stuff up... |

Sell my FRS...not for at least another 5 years, if ever. This car will be modified to the point where nothing on it will be untouched. As for my kit car plans, they are on hold for a bit while I finish the majority of the upgrades on the FRS. The kit car in question only costs $9900, and then the cost of a donor car, which should be under $7000. Of course thats just to get the car running, and then comes the tinkering on that project. A 1550lb mid engined, rear wheel drive, race car for less than $20k should be a blast. I plan on that car being an SCCA contender...well hopefully they will class it appropriately so it can be competitive.
But like I said that project is on hold at least until next year most likely. |
