I had issues with mine too. My car actually died on me once at a stop light because the idle dropped too low. After 4 months, I put the stock back on last week and the car runs WAY smoother. I'm gonna try to get my money back. Sounds like a beast though with the injen.... Sad day. If they don't give me my money back I won't be buying their products again....

The fa20 club cai is roughly the same price and sounds meaner than the Injen + I have never heard of an issue with it.

I got my Injen for $278 from ft86SpeedFactory. Has the price of the FA20Club CAI come down that much?

Overall I have had very little issue with my Injen and I'm not exactly in a hurry to change it out but I like to keep my options open.

Will be about $270 after shipping with no coating. I have the thermal coat so mine was about $300.

I would go with Perrin CAI+ Inlet hose.
No problems like this. A True "Cold Air Intake". The only thing is if you are goin g to purchase this i would recommend the optional intel hose. Its twice the price of injen but well worth it and does not require to reset ECU. No problems on mine working perfectly.

Also if you do purchase this the install is alot different from most intakes that are out, this is because you have to jack up the car some say they can do it without jacking their car but jack it up and take the front bumper off and also the radiator mount as well.. Well worth all the work and plus dont you want to see how efficient this intake is as it sits right below the front bumper. A real COLD AIR INTAKE!

Thumbs up

just installed my wrinkle black injen intake.... no problems yet...

i can feel the power from 4-7500rpm. seat of the pants, the dyno #'s dont lie.

im gonna remove the rest of the growl tube soon, i just wanna make sure the check engine light dont come on.

what do you think, 100 miles or so should trip the check light if its gonna happen. right?

If you're asking why the hole is so big, that's because the bigger hole allows the intake to breathe in extra hot air. The more the merrier.
