I like LS1 idea if it fits. That has been going into lots of cars as swaps and makes alot of easy, simple NA power.

Chevy small-block swaps have been done, and they are a little unimaginative. The more unique the engine swap, the better I think it is.

LS motors make a lot of N/A power because of their sheer size, but their power per liter is a tad unimpressive in my own opinion.

I agree, not very imaginative, lots of people doing it in lots of different cars now... But it's simple, easy, reliable power. I imagine this chassis with 350-400 NA hp and I think it would be pretty awesome.

Mugen MF408S -- 4.0l naturally aspirated V8 putting out 590 hp at 9,500 rpm and 383 ft/lbs of torque at 7,500 rpm. Oh, and the entire engine only weighs 289 lbs.

Lee and the guys at Motus are cooking up some seriously badass stuff down there in Birmingham. They're good people.

I've been talking with Lee on and off for the past few months about KMV4 crate engine details, and, to tell you the truth, I cannot wait for it to be released as a crate engine. I have a 1974 Ford Mustang that is yearning for a new powerplant to replace the sad and lackluster 2.3l.

That combination would be virtually unbeatable, and I do think Toyota should release a special edition version of the GT86 with the 2UR-GSE powerplant.
