I guess it's just force of habit from having ridden motorcycles on and off most of my life, but I normally wave when I see another 86. If they wave back fine, if not, fine. Honestly half the time I don't even register whether they do or don't.

I got waved at by a black FR-S yesterday. Then he weaved through very packed traffic in a construction zone way above the speed limit braking after he merged in a spot that was 1.25 car length. Not cool man, not cool.

I may or may not wave, and most of the time if I don't, it's because it would have been an awkward wave, or didn't see them in time. The not seeing a wave in time happens more frequently from both wrx and twins.......I pay more attention to the road and my surroundings rather than a hand gesture in someone else's car.
I'm the same.

I wave, then get an awkward "WTF" look, and then realize I'm driving the wife's CVT base Impreza hatchback.

Same here! Except it is a Sport Tech Impreza.

I try to stop myself but if I do wave I hope it was a BRZ so at least they may think it is just a Subie wave and not a Twin one.

You need to wave at my neighbor he gets upset when nobody waves at his BRZ and would complain on the local sightings thread.

I got a thumbs up from a guy in an older miata today. He was probably about the same age that I imagine humfrz. I was almost too stunned to return the favor.

I've waived at like 4 different twins in the past 2 weeks not a single wave back, like they don't even see me. What am I chopped liver?
