Thanks. Of course my dealer just takes the grommet out of the glove box and throws it away. I don't think they even have or read the PDI instruction for this car .

Wow, this is difficult to find. This is the only place I can find and they are $3.68 each before shipping. http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...003-02911.html

Someone needs to post up the whole PDI check list so everyone can do it themselves.

So it looked like no one posted up pics of how this area looks from the factory and I'm quite single/bored so I went outside and got'er done

Make sure you don't break any of these little buggers while you're doing this.

Decided to do a quick detail while I was out there, shamelessly dropping in a clean roof picture

If anyone is missing the plugs, you need to call your dealer and be like "WTF!"

You shouldn't have to buy part that should already be included

Just put some gaffa tape or similar over the holes while waiting for the grommets.

I was joking about water getting into this car because I'm so used to a few little drips coming in from my targa roof on my MR2 on very wet days

Last night (quite wet) i did notice a bit of condensation on my rear window when i got into my car after being out for a few hours

Ok... so I just checked my car and the rubber grommets are definitely there and I've checked the strut tops for water/dirt etc and its bone dry and clean.

So it seems that these grommets in place will sort it all out.
