I guess your referring to the engine bay etc?

Here I ask you for patience, as before we have the kit "online" by means of available, I wonīt post details of the installation.

Car exterior/interior is completely std. by now.

Yes, I was referring to the engine bay.

i really applaud this effort and wish that the production deals between toyota and subaru would have allowed an sti model brz with this motor in it. i would have been the first one in line at the dealership to buy one.

i wonder if there are any power advantages of a turbo variant of the 4U-GSE with the d4-s injection system over the fa-20 dit? from everything i've read it seems to be just an emissions advantage.

Then as fullblown and several other shops have already seen the fa20dit cannot make the same amount of power as the fa20 with a turbo. Fa20dit tops out under 400whp. The di injectors simply won't flow anymore than that. This seems like a complete waste.
well you'd have a more reliable forged engine under the hood though.

Nope. The engine isn't going to be stronger, simply built for boost (i.e. low compression pistons and the inlet/outlets for oil and water to the turbo, and MAYBE some other small changes)

just that those which may start reading the thread from somewhere about here also know.
many of the statements by reaper as per above reg. turbo, starter etc. are not/or not entirely correct.

DIT is producing twice the torque from factory than the FA20D.
Do the maths re block strength, crankshaft,...

Why is it not being stronger according to your opinion?

Because the blocks are the same...

But go on and keep thinking it's stronger.

You have obviously never had them side by side did you? (FA20D and DIT)

didnīt plan to post them here, as this sre just some very quickly done vids.
We will do some proper ones quite soon.

as per pictures, if you look closely on the pictures I ahve already posted, you will notice that theres a FA20DIT inside, which can be seen by the intake manifold.

re data, if you donīt believe the gps plot well, then youīd have to come here for a test drive I guess

dyno results will come in the next weeks.
