If you read through a few pages back people are complaining about them condensating (sp?). So the suggestion was to split them and seal them on your own with quality sealant.

After taking them apart I can honestly say it's some of the shittier sealant I've seen.

I used a textured matte black. Just cause thats what I had laying around.

I am noticing a bit of light leak on the chromes though. Doesn't bother me too much, not so easy to notice, but a bit annoying none the less

I got a pair of black winjet and I am wondering if I can open it up and use acetone to remove the paint off to make it look jdm. Anyone ever did that? I think it looks too dark on my whiteout

I'm not sure. You would have to spray it with chrome first I think.. what would you be removing? There is only black plastic underneath the black paint

When I look closely to it I see over spray of the black paint on to the chrome part so I assume it's all chrome underneath and they spray it black.

Got mine painted in Satin Black. It isn't as flat as matte, so it gives it a nice sheen to it.

So I was able to get my Winjets installed Tuesday and while they look nice, my lights pointed straight to the ground and I couldn't see anything while driving at night. Good thing I was with some other FRS owners otherwise I would've been stranded for the night -_- taking them into Speed Element tomorrow to get them adjusted

You were able to put them on but cant align them yourself?

I mean theres literally 2 bolts that u use to align them...one moves left and right one moves up and down...

Woah! Just pop the hood and spin the bolt to dictate height. I had the same issue with pointing and the ground and laughed at myself when I saw how easy it was to adjust this.
