That's a very good discovery with swapping out the oem lsd for a supra lsd item. I'm currently looking at a lsd upgrade aswell and will consider going the supra route. Keep the good work coming Mark!

Mesh came in for the hood vents, painted it black. Still needs final glue but pretty happy with it.

Almost did this yesterday, but parts for the new car came in. Possibly jumping head first in the next couple days.
Did you just use a hole-saw on both ends then make a straight cut between?

Some updated shots of the .86 housing, sand blasted compressor cover, and updated upper intercooler pipe

Loving all your work! I really wish I had half the skills that you have
![]() BTW, do you have more exterior pictures of your car? I am interested in Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 17X9 like you have and it seems extremely difficult to find pictures of those wheels on the twins... If you don't mind showing them off a little, it'd be a great help for me.

Good lord. I occasionally check out other build threads and think "Oh wow. nice." Then I came across this one, got hooked, and spent an hour following the entire thing. I wanted to tear up when you said you were taking time away and then got really happy when you came back. But holy freaking $#$@ man! I wish I lived closer to come look at your work myself. This is the most interesting thread I've come across on this forum. Freaking air pat on the back.

Thanks, I don't think my level of detail should be stand out, this should be industry standard.

In additional news the AC came out of the car today, simplify. Some silly oil drain issues prevented driving on the new .86 housing but should have it buttoned up tomorrow. Also some colder weather these days and certainly a few more clicks out of the LSD before it warms up, not a problem but an observation.

![]() Can't express in words how happy I am with this 28RS, the .86 housing has no noticeable increase in "lag" but the top end is much much better. Not that it was bad before but this just breathes now, probably leaving the dogs at home tomorrow so I can take this for a longer ride.
