Ill be doing the install. Waiting for a few emails back on sound deadening before I know when I'm doing the install. Was going to have captain jack help but that's almost 4 hours of driving in a day then the install itself. If I start early enough I can get the lights, sound deadening and the system done within a day. And a lot of red bull.

Dude I can drive up and help, or you can crash here. We have a spare bedroom. Just need to coordinate. Whichever way.

Yeah I had 3 yrs in for computer science degree but I made a big decision to switch majors and go with a CCNA due to me knowing I wouldn't be able to program the rest of my life. One of my buddies who's still in school actually got a job with AMD and will be making 6 figures right out of college! I'll probably go into voice tho but will first get experience with just hardware and then build onto my CCNA. Many roads to take dealing with networking. But yes very interesting compared to BORING ASS PROGRAMMING! But later on down the road ill probably go back and get a degree in comp. science or switch credits towards game design.... I'll be purchasing the CCNA book and start reading my ass off! Still deciding if I wanna take the single test or the dual test. Dual test would be a little lighter due to less info on the test but Cisco just added like 20 questions so ill be learning those my last semester. My father is actually a VP for a software company out of Alameda, CA called "Wind River" where hopefully I can get into right out of school so I can move back to Cali and know I'm in a well backed up job. He's already talking to the IT's there and also his boss . But yes jasper PMed me on that shop that has a wonderful price on them! Might have to go over there next day off and talk to them.

Agree on working on the car yourself also! I trust my work and sometimes I get a little iffy on some people working on my baby. You will def have to attend our meets tho so we can talk about "nerdy" stuff
Yeah... programing is not something i recommend to nearly anyone. The few times i recommend it are usually people who cant decide what to do and still havent gone to college after spending until their early 30's to make up their mind. I tell them hey... if your going to hate your job at least hate coding and make a fair wage...

Computer science degree can be meh its good to get into entry level dev jobs and others. It really depends on which field you go into. If you want to do software engineering (even web based) and you can get an entry level w/o school; then school never matters... your portfolio matters and nothing more. I actually never went to school and unless i swap careers one day i likely never will step foot in a school. Just getting the first job can be rough (although becoming a LOT easier the past few years!).

PS pm'd you about coiloveres & computer shizzz

Jasper i used to live down the street from you =x i was across the street form las sendas, i lease the house out now as i moved closer to work downtown. Nice quiet area over there! Just succkkkssssss to commute downtown. That and 88 is just around the corner
