In the very cold weather I turn on the seat heaters at first; and when I get some warm, I close it. The automatic heater is the best I've ever used. However it only works on me after the car and me are warm. So in the freezing mornings, I make many adjustments as well.

i love seat heaters. my rangers seats seem to be made out of some sort of warmth-absorbing foam(better for the summer), so even if i get it plenty hot in the cab, my butt still freezes.
so fall to spring, i keep a heat seat cover installed in it.

One of my trucks has heated seats. Love them. Like korhun said, they heat up instantly, so you are warm before the heater kicks in.

Got a new family member today. She is 7 weeks old. We have to wait 3 more weeks to take her home. Meet "Princess".

Is it German Shepherd (Wolfdog)? I don't understand from dogs, and never had one before. My wife had some research; she said, especially female wolfdogs are full of love to the family members and children; also very good at guarding the house.

My cat peed to the passenger seat. I think the sound of the car made her terrified. I've had many trips with her in more silent cars, and there were no problems..

I have grown accustomed to them, in the middle of winter, windows down heater on, seat heaters on, spoilt.
I wish my old MX5 NB8A had them, that thing was an ice box, I did do alot of "brass monkey" cruises during winter without the hardtop, and the whole soft top assembly was removed because it was excess weight (becauseracecar) and I had a hard top for rainy days.

I told my wife we weren't getting a dog till at least two years after retirement. I swear she has been bugging me daily, so I figured I might as well get a dog I want now before she comes home with some shaking purse dog. I want a dog that can be out in the boat with me on a cold morning. My son hates the name "Princess", but I think that is what I'm going with.
Had a pretty good Sunday. Got some tamales from the tamale lady that comes in the dive bar, and turned a $20 bill into $427, then surprised my wife with a new German Shepherd. Now, it is 3am and I can't sleep. Took all my dive bar winnings from the last 6 months to buy the dog. Most expensive dog ever, but I'm sure she will be worth it. Happy wife, so life is good. The two we had when I was in elementary school used to meet me at the bus stop (about a quarter mile up a dirt road from my house) every day to escort me home. My Mom said that about 10 minutes before the bus was due they would trot up to the stop and wait for me. All I knew is they followed me up there in the morning and were waiting for me when I got home.
