Saying hello!
You may want to ask, what is someone who drives an old automatic Corolla doing on this forum. Well, back then I had to get something cheap, economical and reliable, hence the Corolla. Now I am slowly starting to think about getting something new, maybe later this year? I thought about my priorities and preferences, looked around, made a list, and the list includes the FR-S. I kept looking for info, found the forum, and thought I'd join and learn something about the car. Even if ultimately I get something else. I already benefited from lurking: I found full 2016 owner's manual here, couldn't google it anywhere else - thanks! So here I am. And, by the way, when it comes to steering response and feel of the road, I'd still choose my old Corolla over a 2016 Mustang ;-). |

Hello All,
I picked up a Asphalt 2015 Scion FRS 2 weeks ago. I am learning much from the ft86 community and after browsing around. Can't wait to start modding! ![]() -Ssidd |

Finally added an 86 to the fleet!
Just got it last week in Pittsburgh. Manual trans, 14k miles, Nav, fog lights, etc. $17,500 + T&T. No performance mods in the immediate future, want to put a season of autoX and track days on it before I start messing around there. I am planning to do some protective/preventative stuff to it soon though. I'm weighing my options on rust-proofing, especially http://www.fluid-film.com. I'm also looking at clear plasti-dip as a sort of disposable clear bra, and scotch guard? Maybe? Looking forward to being a part of the community!

Hey folks, I'm in from Starkville, MS (MS State Grad Student) and I just bought a 2013 Argento and am having my TRD intake and exhaust installed Friday. I feel like I got a pretty good price on my car, and it only has 27K miles. So far, I really like my car, and I'm not new to this game.
My goals for the next year include: Front Lip Some sort of trunk lip/spoiler Wheels and tires Lower it about an inch (hoping to avoid major supporting mod cost) Maybe even headlights. I'm trying not to go too crazy, but I am excited. |
