LMAO no, that's not for me. It's for my mother. Her bday was Wed, but my parent's out of town (went on vacation) & they're coming back tomorrow, so as for bday cake, I've baked her some cake.

Hey guys, don't really want to turn this to a technical thread, but what some ways to get a bit more sound out of the engine? and im talking about affordable mods.. i was considering a muffler delete, but it might be too much (the sound), anyways any others?

You could take the sound deadening off the hood, that would be pretty cheap. Or remove the sound deadening from the firewall.

A home made intake could be made for less then $100, you might loose a couple torques and it may release a couple of you horsepowers but it would be louder.

Instead of a muffler delete you could try to tame it a little by welding something like this in its place.

It really depends on how much noise you want, and if you want the noise on the inside or outside.

Yeah, it's all depends on where you want the noise to come. From the exhaust (outside) or from intake (engine).

Exhaust, just custom fab the axle back... if you have tin-can exhaust laying around exhaust shop will fab one for you around $30~$60.

Intake, like Calum said, make a custom intake or take off filter of sound generator and it'll make hellova noise inside the car.

so if 500hp car do pull against 500 horse, it'll be tie battle right?"

logically true... but my mind is saying false
