The second half of my exhaust came in while I was out of town, but my sister-in-law was nice enough to sign for it.

I came back tonight and ripped open the box. The exhaust looks great! Ill be installing it tomorrow

PS - Don't do what I almost did and throw out the long box without looking through it. I almost tossed the clamps out

I just got back from installing mine. Good part first! It sounds and looks awesome! Lining up the tips how I wanted wasn't too difficult and there's quite a bit of adjustment to allow for how far out you want the tips to protrude. I have mine pushed in for a more low key look.

Here are some tips for the installation:
1) The overpipe can be snaked out without unbolting the transmission mount. You just have to remove the heat shields from the pipe first.
2) The nuts connecting the overpipe to the header will be a pain. But I got them both off with a 3/8" drive ratchet. Instead of applying constant heavy pressure to the ratchet, tap it with your fist to loosen the nuts. I was starting to round off one of the nuts when trying to loosen with constant pressure.
3) Bring along some spray lubricant. This not only helps with the rubber hangers but it is a boon for slipping the exhaust pipes together. Get them nice and lubed up! Getting the front pipe connected to the overpipe is the biggest pain.
4) When tightening the clamps, go back and forth between each bolt. Every time you tighten one a few turns, the other one needs to be tightened some more.

It took me a little over 3 hours, and I had a lift.

Did I say it sounds awesome? It has some rumble to it and has a nice tone. It goes almost silent at idle.

Unfortunately I'll be using jack stands as well. I'm just waiting for this storm to pass before I head out to do the install.

Here's a short video of mine. Cold start and a 2k rev. Nothing special.

Just my luck, I spend 2.5hrs installing it, then just when Im getting ready to tighten down the clamps, a thunder storm rolls in

Alas, the finishing touches will have to wait until the morning.

Really hope to find out if my exhaust shipped soon. I had it shipped to a town south of the border and one of my friends is going there on wednesday - would be awesome if it was there waiting for him.

I would love to hear if any of you who have it installed can "feel a noticeable power increase". I was thinking of going with the Greddy Evo3, but it seems I can get more for my money with these guys!

I installed mine a few day ago and here are my impressions

Me and a buddy installed on jack stands in less than three hrs, not hard if you installed before, I removed the overpipe without removing the heat shield, just gotta be patient.

I got the catless version.

The exhaust on start up is very loud. When cruising anywhere less than 4k rpm there is a prominent drone. At 55 mph cruise, its not bad. Anywhere from 60-75 its pretty loud.
Above 4k the exhaust is actually quieter.

The sound is great, and I do feel that its making power, revs faster, seems to pull better

From others who have installed this exhaust, do you think it drones?

My GTR had a meisterschaft exhaust and this is similar in loudness and drone, maybe just a tad less, I recently sold that exhaust cause I couldnt take it the drone anymore.

Finally got mine installed. Literally ended up shearing off the very end of the header bolt, but fortunately they're long enough that I was still able to attached the new overpipe securely. Started it up in the garage and it was VERY loud, but I haven't taken it for a drive yet, so I'm guessing it will quiet down a little outside.

Yes it does. I'm a little disappointed because I remember SRT's original post claiming there would be zero drone. Maybe I'm just getting old and irritable?
I'm hoping I get used to it. Or maybe it will quiet down a bit once it "breaks in?"

Other than that I wonder if an equal length aftermarket header would cut down on some of the low frequency drone (OEM is 30% difference in runner length).
