I just replaced my old belt (it was making a squeaking noise) with another K061015, and it seem to fit fine. This is with 70mm pulley.

It's not traction control, I can tell you that. I also experience the same thing as y'all, but it happens with or without the TC on, and doesn't depend on surface condition either.

The K061015 is recommended for pulleys > 72mm. The K061010 is 12mm (1/2") shorter so that the tensioner is not so likely to bottom out. This is more of a problem with auto-blip and light flywheels. I ran the K061015 with a 69mm for about 2k miles. It broke shortly after upgrading the clutch/flywheel.

I think the HD is midway in quality between the standard and the RB (blue). You can get K061015 in RB, but not the K061010.

I unfortunately have a lightweight flywheel on my car and I believe it contributes to the belts slipping off/failing. I have a hard time not stalling/bogging the car and also can't shift fast enough while WOT between 1-3rd gears. Fuck lightweight flywheels basically.

You can waste your time however you want. I'm just here to remind you of it. It can be done either way, but like I said, it's completely unnecessary. Why disconnect fuel lines over and over again, multiple bolts, clamps, etc. if you can't see how many more risk factors there are pulling off the entire manifold then I don't know what to tell you.
Ok ok good lord. Take off the elbow, it's easier.

Who's using an aftermarket clutch? Need to hold around 300whp/ 250 tq. Had my car on the dyno this morning and the stock clutch just was not holding. As soon as the torque picked up everything fell off and my numbers were way short.

I just installed the ACT clutch kit:
http://www.advancedclutch.com/sb8-hdss

I chose the Street flywheel as I didn't want too much gear rattle. Here are my initial impressions, bearing in mind it still has < 200 miles:

Installation was as straightforward as any clutch.
Pedal pressure is just a bit harder than the stock - very good feel.
Engagement is very smooth.
Bite point was a bit lower than the stock clutch. I will adjust after the break in period.
There is some gear rattle when hot on overrrun and in neutral.
No sign of slip with E-85 and 69mm pulley. The stock clutch would start slipping on anything but pump gas with 75mm.
Stock clutch still looked good after 20k miles - just not man enough for the job

Act as though you're doing a normal EcuTek log with all the basic parameters that EcuTek already has open in live logging. Below all of these, you'll see an "All Parameters" box which you can expand. Within that list, you'll see "Custom Map P Interim" and "Custom Map P Result". Check those boxes and Custom Map P will give you ethanol content.

Sincerely,

Zach

Hello all,

I'm pretty new around here, I've been enjoying the past few hundreds of pages in this thread on the I/C Sprintex S/C. I've had mine on the car for the last 1500km, and love it - its brilliant paired up with lower ratio Final drive 4.556. Just trying to get the low down on this bad boy and any issues that I may come across....

Thank you to those that have had the time to post up issues and their fixes.

Do you get a bunny hop sort of power delivery? Like you're pulsing the accelerator pedal up and down slightly?

Mine has developed this recently - at first I thought it was diff or final drive related, but maybe not...

Does it do this normally while the car is cold or still once warmed up...?
