Maybe fixing your car is the therapy you need right now, instead of worrying about the hassles of house selling/buying that you have no control over (like appraisals, loan qualification, attracting and qualifying buyers and pending inspections).

i don't know where the last 3 hours went. it started with looking at FA20 ITB variants, wanting something that used 4 of the drive-by-wire throttle bodies(bad idea, i know, no adjustability).. i somehow ended looking at ford ranger disc brake conversions, locking lsd's, and local pick-n-pull vehicle inventories.

i need a 3rd vehicle so i can take my current 2 vehicles down for 'long term upgrades'...

You bought a sailboat for $2000 that you two can spend two weeks at a time on -

Oh, wait, I got the picture.

Im looking up socal desert camping grounds. anyone got reccomendations?
Ive already done beach, coastal, and mountainous and high plains.

gonna bring my telescope and star gaze

alrighty back to boats
I know just the place. A very secluded setting out in the desert, away from all lights and air pollution - great for telescoping.

I spent two weeks at a time for two years at this camp site.

It's about 30 miles NE of Barstow, CA.

It's called Fort Irwin.

Just tell the gate guard that Captain humfrz sent you -

I have caught him in multiple lies in the past few days.

I brought up an order one of the production departments built for his department to ship. I took a picture of the order sheet and sent it to sales so they knew which one got done. It was to ship UPS ground. It was 10 minutes from our UPS shipping cutoff and they hadn't packaged it. I asked why and he said that sales wanted it to go freight and it couldn't ship and proceed to show me a note from 7/2 that said to get freight dims. That note was not on the order when I took a picture of it 2 hours before

I see what you're saying but honestly the selling and buying don't bother me much. it's the moving and reno we're going to have to do that will get me. assuming things go well I'll be working full time(still of course) and in school part time. good chance I'll be losing my mind at that point. :p

A Stryker, kevlar helmets and modern OCUs? I think not.

I have a much more accurate picture of when Hum was at Fort Irwin.

Second Joshua Tree. I like the boulders out there.
June Lake south of Mono Lake is a nice area. There are trees for some shade.
Bodie ghost town is out in the middle of BFE. Dirt road out there though.
Anza-Borrego is nice too with a few pine trees.

edit: Happy 86 day!

OK,OK, a real picture at Fort Irwin, when I was there.

The Indians all ran off when they saw me and my fearless first sergeant.
