Okay, after reading up on Ice Breaker, do want.

Anybody want to run the weekly nightfall tonight I will be doing it to get some strange coins.

I'm about to drop this damn Thorn mission. Any time I start ramping up void kills I get slaughtered a whole bunch and drop down to zero again. And I need five hundred points.. And it's not even the best hand cannon in the game either... Seriously the difficulty far outweighs the reward, I'm thinking.

Anyone up for a VoG raid this weekend?

Ice Breaker... I have 33 coins, might need to make a purchase this week.

Solo'ed the weekly nightfall, first try. WAY easier than I expected with the everything-burn modifier. Typically difficult majors/ultras were roasted in short order.

I really, REALLY wish we didn't have these harsh ammo penalties when switching weapons. I can understand having a penalty to switch weapon types, but it's compounded by different elemental damage. Its not a huge problem I guess, just really annoying because it's so artificial. At least ammo boxes give me a reason to spend glimmer.

This is exactly why I'm buying the icebreaker. I can start with a shotgun or fusion and not have to worry about starving myself of ammo when I need to switch to sniping.

So another question. Lets say you have a level 15 autorifle that is saved in the armory. If you start a new character, does that new character have to be level 15 before he can use it? I ask because I saved a lot of low level weapons initially with the plan of having better weapons to use for a new character. If that restriction doesn't exist, then I'll clean house tonight and start saving higher level weapons.

Okay, later usually works better for me. I usually can get on for about an hour or so right after work, but then with dinner and spending time with the girlfriend etc it's usually around 9 or so if I get back on there. I'd be down though. I'll add you as a friend when I get home tonight. Then maybe we can launch around 9 or so.

What character and level are you again? I'm lvl 25 Titan. My Striker Sub-class is maxed out, just started working on the Defender subclass. I do have the protective bubble available now, so let me know which sub-class would help out more on the strike and I'll make sure I equip it before we role.

I'm a 27 Gunslinger Hunter. My friend is a defender and his bubble is maxed so if you'd like to run your striker we could use a good super that can clear hordes when we're in a tight spot. The weekly nightfall is Winter's Run so prepare for the Archon Priest.


I use the Galahad-E and Final Boss sniper so I'll keep people off your back from picking you off at distances.

Sweet. My recovery and agility is better with Striker too so for now I prefer that. When I tried running a strike last night with Defender equipped, I was finding myself running a lot to keep from dying.

Okay. We might have to go find you some raw materials and level your gear a little bit first. If I remember correctly, Bungie stated a 3 level gap may make opponents immune to your attacks. If not immune then extremely resistant. So even getting you to 26 will go a long way. I know all the farming routes for each planet though so we should be good.
