It could probably be made thinner and also have a lot of the material outside of the fittings for the hole and the screws removed. At that point though it might be better to be out of thin steel though as it'll be more stressed.

I'll be driving without underwear from now on to make up for it, so don't you worry.

I took these earlier today without reading your post, so I'm just now realizing you wanted the whole engine. But here are some closeups for now.

Ah now I see what you were previously talking about, just curious was there a reason you didnt run all of the pulleys? You had posted something earlier about it being harmful to boxer engines.
Care to expand?

Hey so I went to pull the covers just now and when I take the two bolts out of the ECU it is able to freely rotate around a point below it. It looks like there's only a single lower mounting point, where it bolts to a bracket that then bolts to the engine?

That's weird. I have mine mounted in two places. I took it completely off, so I can't remember if it was only mounted in one place, but I don't know why it would be. Here's an overhead view.

The good news: tow hooks and Stiff Arms came in today!
The bad news: I just realized the tow hooks are meant to screw into the bumpers. I thought they went directly into the chassis. I've already come up with a simple solution for the rear, I'll just need to stop by the hardware store tomorrow. The front though... no idea. I may have to return it. Also... here's a fun fact I discovered: Raceseng Stiff Arms will save you 10.4 ounces, and a Raceseng rear tow hook weighs 10.4 ounces. So if you were looking to move 10.4 ounces from high in your engine bay to low in the rear of your car... there's an option.
