For sure!

Most of the cars that are riced up though have Front B.C (Baja California, Mex) plates. Not to stereotype but I'm sure most of the aftermarket parts came from a stolen vehicle.

LOL I don't think you need a timeout, but you need a nice cold drink! If I was there, I would totally buy you a drink... but I'm not, so have digital pat on the shoulder! Again thanks for all those pics

+1 It looks like it should cost $60k and not $25k.

If anything, the dealership will rice it out more than the buyer with their weak accessories. Also, since this is a completely new car with the initial limited aftermarket parts, I think it may even take a a couple of years.

To be honest, in San Diego, I haven't seen too many riced out cars. Either that or I haven't been paying too much attention.

I see the opposite. The tC took off in the aftermarket like a bat out of hell. It was nearly overnight that HKS and the likes were building full carbon fiber race cars out it. I think the FR-S if it stays under Scion would take off just as fast with the aftermarket. There are just to many people waiting on this car for it to sit for a couple of years without some instant developments.

Seeing as how it's a sports car, I would imagine the accessories from the Scion dealer would cater a little more on the performance side of things. At least that's what I would like to see.

deck out the scion. turn your FWD TC back into a daily.

you know thats the route you want to take anyway.

not reading thru 30+ pages.. im sure it was covered somewhere already, but i cant wait to see someone panda it complete with tofu shop stickers. not that i am endorsing it.. but am waiting for the first person to do so. lol

me, once i get my hands on one, years after the first ones are rolled out and kinks are addressed, i will probably paint my AE86 to match the new version.

ill do my best to keep the new shiny clean one the daily.. and go more extreme on the original. haha

Dragonitti........... All i get from that is A. Get rid of the Tc OR B. Get rid of ur wife......

This car deserves nothing less...... And ill be sure to be setting up a thread as soon as Toyota are willing to start taking orders..... I was stressing i would have to sell my house to make sure i had the coin ready for this car, and also to be one of the first in AUS to get it but not anymore.... With the new job hahaha lets just say ill be keeping my head down and working hard doing the overtime and making the big $$$ to have this exactly how i want....

And to nismo300zr2 i will be at the forefront of the kink issues as ill be pushing my Series 1 as hard as possible.... Bring on the kinks!!!!!!! LOL......

But in the mean time I got to get rid of this dreadful Independent Rear Suspension 6litre Holden that handles like a pig, sell up for an S15 silvia and try and find a straight Datsun 240z to be my project.... Cant find them in straight condition in Australia for less than $10k.....

If anyone is from JAPAN and knows of any shops selling bombed out high powered Datsun 240z's with a website please send me a private msg!!!!!! I think im gonna have to import direct........ Mmmm.... Might start a thread if no one notices this post..... Btw sorry for thread theft....

It looks like it costs more than 25k because it probably cost $600k. I'm tired of seeing concepts. This car is supposed to be available in 8 or 9 months. I want to see a pre-production model already. We already know the real car isn't going to have all that carbon fiber or come with 20" rims and 18" fixed rotors. It probably won't even have all those LEDs in the headlights.

I can't believe toyota was touting their engine technology being applied to the boxer for increased power and then providing a power figure.

The car looks good except for the rear scion badge but then again the production car isn't going to look like that. We're going to get compromises at every corner if not to please the dull execs at Toyota then they will be to cut costs.

It's hard to get excited about anything until we see the real thing in Tokyo.

I agree. Enough with concepts/prototypes. Time to see the real thing already Toyota/Subaru!
