I'm in. Available most weekends. I know coming up in a few weeks I'll be swapping a TDI into a Jetta Wagon, but we could probably throw together an impromptu meet before then.

Any ideas on date and locations? I was hoping after February. Since I would be clear from studying the days away after that point.

Sounds good. I would probably be coming from BR too. But, it depends on the day.

Cars & Coffee meets at the Cafe du Monde on Hwy 21, there's a large parking lot there although I'm unsure of how "cool" they are with that sort of thing. I know there's a Mustang show there once a month during the better weather months. It's probably a "sanctioned" event.

There's also places to gather around the lakefront as well.

Alternatively, there are plenty of restaurants that we could park at as "customers" and have a bit to eat and then a car show might accidentally break out. I'm friendly with a few local restaurant owners, but parking/availability would depend on the crowd. So I guess the location depends on how many people show up. After February (March) sounds good to me. I may be going to TX2K13 so I'd be gone March 14-17. Saturdays are best for me, but Sundays are doable if it's a mid-day sort of thing.

Would any of you be interested in a meet at a Scion dealership maybe sometime in the early spring? I've breifly talked to one here in Baton Rouge who said we could probably arrange something like that.

We used to get dealerships to sponsor meets back in the days of the "new" Honda Civic SIs (2006~2007). They were fun with a good turn out. It eventually grew into a big thing with one of the local dealers doing a poker run, car contest, etc. They would even cook food for the event.

I'm hoping to get the same kind of thing started for the FR-S/BRZ community here. I'm just trying to gauge the interest of people of the forums before I go and talk to them about sponsoring one.

I don't live there, but I spend a lot of time there. There's a Cars & Coffee event on Saturday 02/16/13 8AM-11AM at the Texas Roadhouse on Johnston. I am trying to be in Lafayette that weekend.

Just bought a black frs. Have a brz on order since sept with no luck, so scooped up an fra they had at nshore Toyota. Love this car!
